This standard is a research-based where students will investigate how organisms survive an extreme environment.

- deep ocean
- high mountains
- deserts
- antartica etc
Students will learn to select relevant information from various sources to help write a report. The selected information will be recorded in a log book in a traceable format and processed using their own words.
